Past experience in validating MoA fertilizer
recommendations, innovative intercropping, striga
management, BNF technologies, grain legume
enterprise, others
Basic skills in reporting, marketing collection points,
and home nutrition but with large differences in
capacities among members

basin, midlands and upper midlands)
5.8 ± 2.4 member household, 59% women headed,
1.0 ± 0.9 ha farm size, 0.20 ± 0.19 ha per capita
73% striga infested, 88% interested in expanding
grain legume enterprise, emergence of MLNV major
concern
