New to Cub Scout Summer Camps? An
Overview of Cub Scout Camping Programs!
Camping takes you on exciting adventures into the natural world. You’ll learn to live with others
in the out-of-doors. You’ll learn to be a good citizen of the outdoors.
Camping is fun, and it’s good for your mind, body, and spirit. It helps you learn to rely on
yourself—on your own skills and knowledge. When you go camping as a Cub Scout, you get
skills you will learn and use more, later, as a Boy Scout.
Cub Scout camping often starts with a pack overnighter at a local park or at one of our council
camps. For the next step in adventure, Seneca Waterways Council offers a number of Cub
Scout camping programs that can’t be beat!
No better way to bond with your son or build his confidence than Cub Scout
Camp!
Located in the Finger
Lakes, Camp Babcock
Hovey and Camp Cutler
are both Top Rated Scout
Camps and the ideal
locations to spend time
with your son. After all,
he’s only a Cub Scout for
a few short years!
Once you visit our
beautiful camps, hike the
hills, fish the ponds, and
enjoy the amenities, you
and your son will want to
come back for more!

“We didn’t think of ourselves
as ‘campers’. We didn’t even
own a tent. Cubs in Camp was
a great day with my son, and
later that summer we
attended Cub Adventure
Weekend. The staff was great,
the activities were a blast, and
my son is already talking
about next year. I’d
recommend it to everyone.”
