This article has information regarding Open Stack, Virtualization and Hypervisor. Also, i have tried to explain how our n'cloud Swiss works.

1. Open Stack Vs Virtualization

2. What is Open Stack?
• Open Stack is an open source, free Cloud
operating system that manages multiple
technologies such as storage, networking and
compute, including hypervisors. This is all
controlled and provided through APIs with
authentication method.

3. What is Virtualization?
• Virtualization is basically infrastructure as a
service and it is time consuming to add capacity
to increase performance of the machine. Getting
more performance means “scaling up” or
increasing capacity by adding more memory,
storage, processors to make the physical
hypervisors perform better, but you can only add
so much until you have maxed out your server
hardware capacity.

4. What is Hypervisor?
• hypervisor is a software that creates and runs
virtual machines (VMs). It allows a host computer
to support multiple guest VMs by virtually sharing
its resources, like memory and processing. There
are two types of hypervisors. First one is a type
where the hypervisor installed on a host
computer to control other machines and other
one is a hypervisors, which is “hosted” in such a
way that run as a software layer on an operating
system, like other computer programs.

5. Major Difference between Virtualization and Open Stack:
• Cloud resources are agnostic and disposable, As
virtualization demands the care, feeding and nurturing of
virtual machines. While using Open Stack, you can say
goodbye to rebuild and redeploy as you can create as many
of the VM when required and delete when your job is
done.
• Cloud offers the ability to automate the whole solution as
to what we used to do manually for functions.
• Cloud enables pure self-service, freeing up your expensive
resources to focus on delivering business value. Cloud lets
you provision what and when you need it.

6. From Cloud Perspective:
Both Technologies are used in a mix and match formation
to make a cloud work. In Simple Virtualization, we need
download and install a hypervisor for virtualization and
we each time to make a Virtual Machine we need a
human to create a VM on server and install an OS on it,
using virtualization we need human each time to manage,
create, upgrade a Virtual Machine (VM). While using a
cloud we don’t have time to engage a human each time
to work for us as we have to create, build and deploy.

7. As in Cloud we create hundreds and thousands of machine on
a daily basis and delete them when there is no need of them.
As Create, Build and Deploy is the main theme of DevOps. As
DevOps is quite hot term these days, but it can’t work on
simple virtualization and develops is purely related to Cloud
Computing. So, we need to have an Automate solution for
this, we simply need have Open Stack mixed with
virtualization to make this task speedier.
In our Public cloud, we provide our customers with the self-
service portal. Where customer can create, build and deploy
VM within a time of a minute or two. We provide customers
with simplest UI, where the customer is trained within 15-20
minutes to how to operate and use our simple panel.

8. All our customers need a Quota like: VCPU,
VRAM, VStorage. Customers just need to buy
the quota and they can make delete as many
Virtual Machines as they want. We provide a
complete unmanaged cloud computing solution
to our customers. Where they don’t need any
help of humans to perform any of the task.
