 This is the beginning of the story
 It creates the tone
 It introduces the setting and characters
 It presents facts necessary to facilitate the
understanding of the story

4. Rising Action
 A series of events leading up to the climax
 These events give rise to conflict/s

5. Conflicts
 Conflicts are problems or complications
 There are five main types of conflicts:
 Man vs. man
 Man vs. himself
 Man vs. society
 Man vs. nature
 Man vs. supernatural

6. Climax
 It is the result of the crisis
 This is the turning point of the story.
 It is the high point of the story
 It is generally somewhere in the middle of the
story

7. Falling Action
 This includes events after the climax
 These events lead to the resolution

8. Resolution
 This is otherwise called the Denouement
 This is the end of the story
 This is where all loose ends are tied up
