It is imperative for job candidates to understand that
their resume is one of the most important
documents that they will ever have to present—it is
an investment in their future. A well-crafted resume
is the conduit to the interview and it is an integral
component of any career marketing campaign.
Today’s job market is flooded with qualified
candidates. As such, hiring managers spend an
average of 20-30 seconds reviewing each resume.
Knowing that time is valuable, your resume is a
significant document and it should not be left to
chance.
A need to know moment: Did you know that job
interviewing is about building rapport, exchanging
of ideas, and demonstrating good communication,
people and leadership skills?
A need to know moment Did you know that
smiling, showing enthusiasm and projecting a
positive attitude can pay great dividends?
Furthermore, you look so much better when you
SMILE!!!
A need to know moment: Did you know that job
candidates who are poised, relaxed, and who
demonstrate good communication skills, oftentimes
receive more job offers then job candidates who
lack these skills?
A need to know moment: Did you know that many
job candidates do not receive job offers because
they fail to ask for the job during the interview?
A need to know moment: Did you know that
hiring managers aren’t only interested in your
academic accomplishments? Instead, they want to
learn who you are, and are you teachable,
approachable and more importantly, are you
promotable? Showing measurable results instead of
talking results weigh more at the end.
A need to know moment: Understanding how
competitive the job market is, job candidates must
continue to build their skills and maintain a positive
outlook on life. Know that sooner, rather than later,
the opportunities will come. However, candidates
must stay focus and keep working their plan.
A need to know moment: If you are not chosen for
a job that you strongly believe you deserve...don’t
get discouraged, send the employer a thank-you
card for giving you a chance to interview.
Remember: Always maintain professionalism at all
times.
LET’S TALK ABOUT YOU FOR A MOMENT
Are you satisfied with your current employment
status? Do you feel stuck or stagnant in your
career? Are you ready for a career change? Or, do
you just need to jumpstart your career? If you
answered yes to one or more of these questions,

Services can write you an eye-catching resume that
will yield positive results.
IS THIS YOUR CURRENT SITUATION?
Are you getting interviews, but unable to seal the
deal? Work with me and my staff and we will

goals? If so, we provide customized career

A teachable moment: Never say bad things about
your current or former employer. You must take
full responsibility for anything that transpired
during your previous job tenure.
A teachable moment: Don’t spend the entire
interview talking about you and what you want.
Instead, talk about what you can do for the
company, now, not later.
A teachable moment: If you want a job, don’t sit
on the sideline complaining about how no one is
hiring, or the economy is bad, get back into the
GAME and find that job. [Make it happen] because
you deserve that job...Persistence and Focus!!!!
Now that the light has finally
come on in your life; walk up
those stairs with confidence
and know that GOD has ordered
your steps. You should feel
proud of your
accomplishments, hard work
and the persistence you had
during those hard times.
Finally, do not forget about
those who prayed for you.
 If you are having trouble
finding work, don’t QUIT, you
can make it if you can find the
strength to get through THIS
DAY, not tomorrow or next
week.
 Wake up each day expecting
something good is going to
happen in your life.
 Get to know yourself during
these tough, lonely times.
Believe that your job situation
