A count of how many different people arrive at a website within the reporting period, which
could be a day, a week, or a month. However, unique visiors per month is probably the most
common metric for setting goals, pricing ads, etc. A unique visitor is determined by their IP
address.
6. Backlink:
A link from one web page to another website. According to Google, the more backlinks you
have pointing to your site, the more popular it will be.
7. Conversion Rate:
Considered the most important Internet marketing metric, your conversion rate is the
percentage of visitors who take action on your website, whether by requesting a quote, signing
up to receive your blog posts, giving you a call, or making a purchase.
