OBJECTIVE
To secure a position as a boxing trainer or trainer of trainers where I can
demonstrate, teach, help and coach people to achieve their fitness goals and
improve their lifestyle.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Measure strengths and weaknesses using fitness assessments.
Motivate and carefully evaluate needs and assist by helping to set
attainable goals and provide feedback and accountability.
Provide one-on-one guidance to help achieve fitness goals.
Teach how to modify exercises appropriately to avoid injury.
Explain the results that can be expected from particular exercise
regimens.
Observe, teach, and correct boxing techniques such as hand-feet
coordination; hand-eye coordination; jabs; different tricks of hitting a
speed bag; left hooks; body shots; combinations and continuation of
combinations; power shots; offense and defense.
Inform on whens, whats, and whys of attempting a punch or reacting to
punching attempts.
Instruct how to fight fluently by teaching how to fight a boxer and box a
fighter.
Identify the correct set of exercises to achieve maximum results.
Demonstrate and guide safe exercise, taking into account individualized
physical limitations.
Track progress.
Lead individuals and occasional groups of all ages through personal
workshops and skill development boxing training.
Counsel on proper nutrition and exercise habits.
Assist in the operation of a clean, friendly, and well-maintained health or
boxing club.
Maintain peak physical condition to better serve and motivate.
ACHIEVEMENTS
Train both southpaw (jabs with right hand) and orthodox (jabs with left
hand) amateur and professional boxers.
Train personal trainers on becoming boxing trainers; including how to
hold boxing pads.
