3. Introduction
Mexican burritos. It is a dish originally from
the border city of Ciudad Juárez, Mexico. It
consists of a large wheat flour tortilla that
wraps various types of stuffing, such as meat,
beans, cheese, vegetables, or the combination
of various along with scrambled vegetables.
4. History
In the times of the Mexican Revolution (1910 -
1921), in the Bella Vista neighborhood, in
Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico, there was a
man named Juan Méndez who had a food stand.
So that the food did not get cold, he had the idea
of making large wheat flour tortillas and placing
the fillings inside by rolling up the tortillas and
placing them inside tablecloths to keep them
warm. There were so many orders he received,
he decided to buy a donkey to transport the food
and cross it through the Rio Grande. The
success of his food was so great that eventually
Mexicans and Americans began arriving from
all over the world asking about the food of the
"burrito". That was how the burrito
denomination was born.
5. Step 1
The pepper and onion are cut and fried
with a little oil until they get soft or
golden
