word.WhenI had questionsaboutpre-workmaterial,Iwasable to email George andreceive
speedyresponsetoensure thatIwas able to complete mypre-workin anefficientmannerand
withthe righttoolsand resourcestoanswerfor myself.
 George createdthe most effective certificationI’veattendedbyallowingtrainerstotrynew
waysof facilitatingthe activitiesthatwere written,inordertotestdrive more adultlearning
methodologythatwouldenhance ourclasseseffectiveness.We were able toputthe mindsof
14 trainerstogetherwithvaryinglevelsof tenureandknowledge todeterminehow bestwe
coulddelivermaterialandhave itstickwiththe largestnumberof participants.
 George didn’ttake forgrantedthe hours of work we had putin to ourpre-workprocess.If we
postedinour crowdaroundgroupto answerquestions,he acknowledgeall of ourresponsesand
tiedto all of the pre-workwe hadcompletedthroughoutourwhole certificationprocess.In
othercertificationsI’veattended,muchof the pre-workfeelslike busyworkbecause aftermy
initial completion,it’sneveraddressedagain.
 George createdthe environmentthatwe needtomodel inourclassrooms.Adultlearning
theoryhas 4 principles,one of which,isthatadultlearnersneedtobe involvedintheirown
evaluationandplanningof whattheylearn.George allowedusaslearnerstohave this
autonomyby:choosingourbrain breaks,lettingus have conversationsaboutthe orderof class,
lettingusevaluate ourselvesandeachotherandlettingusdeliverourmultiple teachbacksina
mannerwe saw fittingbasedonourexperience asfacilitators.
 George and hisco-facilitatorexpectedustoprovide “BigFish”opportunitiesonly.We were
deterredfromprovidingfeedbackthatdidnotaffectthe deliveryof aclass.Asa facilitator,you
may dislike the wayyouphrasedsomethingormaydislikethe 4-5timesin20 minutesyousaid
“so” but a classmay not notice these things,andprovidingfeedbackonthatdoesnothelpyou
workon opportunitiesthatwouldmake yourclassmore effective anditundercutsyour
confidence becauseyoufeel asthoughyou’ve donenothingcorrectly.
I wantto thank youagain foryour certificationstyle George.Youhonestlymake iteasytolearnand
make everyone wanttolearn.Youhelpedme learnsomuchabouttechnical supportandfacilitation.
