General presentation of the Jahia Academy Roadmap. At Jahia we have triggered a new and major initiative: Jahia Academy! We will not just build another “Documentation” site, we will build a compelling knowledge sharing experience! Jahia Academy will be the foundation for all information and documentation around Jahia Digital Industrialization, including documentation, training, forums and more. In this session we will walk you through the architecture and roadmap of the Jahia Academy.

- - Well, this is the last session before lunch, and documentation is not really the most exciting topic either, so thank you all for joining this session. - I am Giancarlo Berner, Director of Jahia Experience. - Part of my objectives with Jahia is to lead and implement a new initiative known as the Jahia Academy
- But why would we want to invest in an academy-like knowledge base? Why not a more compelling user documentation?
- If you are a playing for Paris St. Germain, you need to convert your talent to a professional appearance
- Also as a successful doctor you need to learn and practice
- Same with being a successful Digital Factory expert: it’s not sufficient to just read docs, you need more, like a mentor/coach and solution examples
- And today is the day to kick-off the Jahia Academy!
- So let us use this session to kick-off the new Jahia Academy initiative! And let us do it in a more dramatic fashion!
- You will hear that “mantra” a lot around Jahia Academy. Explain that you can’t win a tournament by just reading books. You need to work with a trainer, study games, play tournaments and, yes, read books too
- - The academy will be the knowledge foundation and provide all the information required to fulfill the individual needs and roles within a Digital Factory project life cycle
- If you look at the life cycle of a Jahia project you will notice that there are many roles involved
- Explain faculties, mention phases are not final, but potentially as shown
- Community shall participate.
