1. Bridging The Gap
About the Founder
After leaving the Marine Corps, I began my career in telemarketing; where I supervised over 300
telemarketing representatives in an inbound 24 hour call center. By time I was 23, my wife and I already had 5
beautiful children. I was shot in the back of the head but didn’t really feel the effects until I got older. While in
my mid 20’s, an associate of mine asked me to partner with him on a music venture. He agreed to finance the
project and provided me with blank postal money orders. I used the money orders to purchase studio
equipment. Shortly afterwards I was convicted of possession of stolen money orders and mail fraud.
Upon serving a year in prison I was released and began working for a third party company; managing
over 60 employees on third shift. My shift consistently out performed all other shifts in productivity and
efficiency. The company laid off in the recession of 2008.
I then attended University of Phoenix full time until I joined a non-profit raising funds for homeless
veterans. I was asked to cut my hair in order to run my own satellite office. I declined and transferred to the
Georgia chapter. When I didn’t see anyone receive assistance in 5 months, I complained to human resources
and was terminated in 2 weeks.
The last 3 years I have been unemployed unable to find employment. In addition to financial
tribulations, I started suffering from Raynauds disease, migraines, and chronic neck pain. The latter symptoms
most likely caused from the gunshot wound and age. With a desire to help people and seemingly unable to
contribute financially to my own family; I decided to make my own business to help those that need it the most.
