This letter is in reference to the performance of Lauren Streich as a Recreation attendant employed at the
Hotel del Coronado.
Lauren Streich began as a seasonal Recreation Attendant in May of 2015 and succeeded in becoming a
top performer amongst the seasonal team, consisting of over 50 attendants. Intelligent and determined,
she caught on to the job very quickly and excelled in becoming a positive role model in the work place
and a leader by example for her peers to follow.
Very mature for her age, Ms. Streich was punctual, reliable, and highly motivated throughout her time at
the Del. She continuously produced high quality work, resulting in positive impacts on both the
Recreation team and the Hotel del Coronado as a whole. She quickly became a staple to our Main Pool
operation, the largest and busiest operation of the department, holding the responsibility for closing the
pool on her own. She is a very talented young woman and her attention to detail and noteworthy work
ethic made her one of the easiest employees to manage.
Ms. Streich also works very well in a team setting, able to take direction from her supervisors
and utilize advice from both supervisors and her peers. Her dedication to her work and sincere
customer service skills have been the driving forces of her success in the hospitality industry.
She is also happy and more than willing to share her knowledge and experiences with her peers
to further benefit their success as well. In return, her teammates respect and appreciate her input.
It was a true pleasure mentoring Ms. Streich this past summer and although our time together was short, I
am confident that she has both the inclination and potential to succeed in any endeavor that she may
embark on. Thus, I highly recommend her for hire; the industry would be lucky to have her.
