Customer service has for a long time been
the bar that every company tried to provide
its customers. That provided the consumer
with the information they required & helped
in completing transactions and purchases.
Today, customer service has changed into or
rather evolved into the primary way a
company can cost effectively compete with
one another. However to start apart from
the rest a company needs to move itself
beyond customer service & look towards
customer care.
What is the difference?
Customer service involves: Serving a
customer to help complete a transaction and
give information. The service might be very
friendly and helpful, but at the end of the day
the primary purpose it to make a sale or
complete the specific process for the
customer. It does not move beyond the initial
contact, and the customer is never surprised
about anything.
In contrast Customer Care takes the service
procedure to the next level. Treating the
customer as a unique individual and to help
the customer feel that he/she makes up the
core of your business.
It requires a more proactive approach that
may catch the customer off guard in a very
positive manner and delight them with your
company. Customer care is the way to put
your business above the rest.
“Customer Care is the kind of
approach a company takes in
winning and maintaining its
customers”
Therefore to conclude it all, customer service
is a part of customer care ways in reaching
towards the end result which is customer
satisfaction.

A hashtag is a label for content. It helps
others who are interested in a certain topic,
quickly find content on that same topic.
A Hashtag looks something like this:
#illridewithyou
#Zong4G
#PeshawarAttacks
Hashtags are mostly used on social media
sites. They rocketed to fame on Twitter. But
now you can use hashtags on other social
platforms like Facebook, Instagram,
Pinterest etc.
Anyone sharing content on a relevant topic
can add the hashtag label to their message.
Others searching for the same topic, can
search for the label to find other messages
on the same social media platform.
For example, during the launch of 3G
services in Pakistan, everyone was using
different hashtags related to 3G services on
different platforms and sharing the
information. This helps readers get
information about that specific hashtag and
not get any irrelevant information.
Hashtags are also like an emotional lifeline.
Public uses hashtags to express their
sentiments. People cling to such hashtags, to
learn about events and help them as an
emotional outlet.

1st of
Jan,
but by the middle of the week, many people
have already skipped gym, eaten the stacked
burger and been had a fight with friends.
No one ever said goal setting is easy. A
survey result show that fewer than five adults
stick to the resolutions that they say would
stick to by the end of the year.
Still, psychologists say there’s no time like
the present to give your goals a try. If you
want to be a better version of yourself in
2015, there’s a science behind it all.
Choose Your Goal Wisely
The key to accomplishing your goal is to
make it concrete and easy to break down
into pieces, said Jeff Janata, chief of
psychology at UH Case Medical Center in
Cleveland, Ohio. Weight loss is actually an
example of a resolution that sets you up to
fail.
"Weight loss really isn't in our control,"
Janata said, explaining that no matter how
rigid the diet and exercise, weight loss
naturally plateaus. "That's one of the reasons
people fail at weight loss. They focus on 'I
need to lose a certain number pounds per
week.'"
Instead, cutting out fried foods or deciding to
work out a few days a week are better goals,
he said.
"Don't start off with these grand resolutions,"
said psychologist Joe Taravella.
Don’t Beat Yourself Up If You Mess Up
No matter how perfect the goal is, Janata
said people are going to slip. But that doesn't
mean they should give up completely.
"Re-adjust the goal according to how difficult
it is for you," Janata said.
He advised taking 2015 goals week by week
or day by day.
"I remind people that we're human and we're
not perfect," Taravella said. "We're going to
mess up throughout our entire lives."
He said one bad day "doesn't mean we're
total failures and all progress we made isn't
meaningful."
Reward Yourself
Building in days off is an important part of
goal-setting, Taravella said.
"Being totally rigid 24/7 is not sustainable
over the long haul," Taravella said.
Go Public
Want to make sure you nail your 2015
resolutions? Make them public, psychologists
advised.
"Talk to people about what you're doing, so
you can be accountable," Taravella said,
explaining that you'll be motivated to
succeed because you won't want to fail in
front of your friends.

Make Sure You Are Doing It For The Right
Reasons
Tackling a goal because someone told you to
or because you simply think you "should"
might backfire, Janata said. Sometimes,
taking on a goal because of outside pressure
just makes people want to rebel, he said.
"There's an important distinction to be drawn
between goals that we feel that we should
accomplish and those we believe we truly
want to accomplish," he said. "Rarely do we
attain goals unless we truly embrace the
goal."
So make sure you're only picking goals
because you're ready and eager to fulfill
them.

As we know, many of us think that if we just
keep our head down and do the work, that all
else will take care of itself regarding our
careers. But as many of us also know, that's
often just not true.
One of the key aspects of our career that
really matters is your personal brand -- which
is essentially how you choose to present
yourself. Everyone has one.
So what does your brand say about you?
What do you want it to say? Building a
successful personal brand starts with
knowing yourself. Here are my top five tips
for creating your personal brand and
enhancing it so you can achieve your dream
level of success.
Be Authentic:
Many branding experts will tell you how to
shape and craft your personal image to
within an inch or your life.
You need to develop your personal brand in
light of who you actually are. Look at your
strengths, your likes, where you shine, how
you like to dress etc. When you strip away
the mask, who are you really, and how can
you show up in a way that allows your true
authentic self to show through? That is the
essence of your personal brand, and the only
essence that you want to build on. Fake it till
you make it is not something you want to
project when we are talking about your
brand.
Make Sure You Can ‘Be You’ Where You
Work:
Once you have worked out who you really
are and therefore what your personal brand
should be, the next step is how you bring
your full and authentic self to work every day
in a way you can flourish. If you feel confined,
constrained and like you just don't fit with
how you are expected to show up in your
work, then here is a hint -- you may be in the
wrong job. So have a think about your
passion, purpose and reason for being, and
see where it leads you. You may need to
make a change to truly thrive at work.
Be Known For Something:
To really shine, you need be clear on who you
are, what you want, and you need to harness
and build your skills and knowledge. The key
is to not only build them, but to become
known for them, in a way that differentiates
you from everyone else. It's not just enough
that you know what you know -- others have
to know that you know it. This is how you
become a thought leader or an expert. And
remember to be specific. If you think you can
be known for everything, you run the risk of
being known for nothing at all. Get clarity,
build your deep expertise, and then you can
become known for it.
Get Your Behavior in Check:
Many of the things that are critical to
building your brand are not about
knowledge, they aren't about how you look,
and they aren't about how firm your
handshake is (but yes, firm is always best). A
huge chunk of being well regarded is actually
about behaviors. I cannot stress this strongly
enough. What you are known for is as much
about how you do what you do, as it is about
what you actually do. So think about things
like being kind, being respectful, showing up
on time, listening to others and not being a
gossip. Behaviors matter -- big time. So focus
on mastering yours.
Build and Own Your Personal Brand:
How you show up online is just as important
(or maybe even more important these days)
than how you show up in person. It can
literally make or break you, in terms of
others' perception and your reputation.
Knowing what is out there on the web when
people are looking for you, whether it is a
future employer, a new manager or a client,
is critical to managing your brand. Think
about your social media presence, your
personal website or blog, how and where you
comment online, then look at what you are
saying and how people are responding.
You have a personal brand whether you like
it or not. Think about how you show up, how
others perceive you, what you know and who
knows it. With all that in mind, you will have
gone a long way in building a brand that
works for you.
