Learning To
Be Calm
What do you do
when you not get
what you want?
How do you feel
when you are
disappointed?
How do you act when you are
angry?
Do you feel good after
shouting at somebody?
Do you feel better when you
throw an object or hit
someone?
Calmness is the ability to
remain still, quiet, and
peaceful.
It is important that we
remain calm when we are
upset so that we will not say
or do something that we will
later regret or feel sorry
about.
Being calm also keeps us away
from anxiety and helps us to
think more clearly when we faced
in bad situations.
It is important to remain calm
when we feel extreme
emotions like anger,
excitement, and worry.
In this way, we avoid saying
hurtful words and doing hurtful
actions.
We cannot control our
feelings, but we can control our
actions resulting from our
feelings.
We may choose to do what is
proper or improper.
To remain calm, it is important
that we become still and quiet for a
while and think about the feelings
of the other people involved.
Staying calm also keep us
from panicking when we are
caught in a bad situation.
When we pray for God’s
guidance, our conscience
dictates what is right and
wrong.
When we choose to do what
is right and proper, we end up
feeling good about ourselves.
When we do or say
something hurtful, we end up
feeling bad about ourselves.
We should always choose to
be calm and find time to think
and decide on the right thing to
do.

  • 3. What do you do when you not get what you want?
  • 4. How do you feel when you are disappointed?
  • 5. How do you act when you are angry? Do you feel good after shouting at somebody? Do you feel better when you throw an object or hit someone?
  • 6. Calmness is the ability to remain still, quiet, and peaceful.
  • 7. It is important that we remain calm when we are upset so that we will not say or do something that we will later regret or feel sorry about.
  • 8. Being calm also keeps us away from anxiety and helps us to think more clearly when we faced in bad situations.
  • 9. It is important to remain calm when we feel extreme emotions like anger, excitement, and worry.
  • 10. In this way, we avoid saying hurtful words and doing hurtful actions.
  • 11. We cannot control our feelings, but we can control our actions resulting from our feelings.
  • 12. We may choose to do what is proper or improper.
  • 13. To remain calm, it is important that we become still and quiet for a while and think about the feelings of the other people involved.
  • 14. Staying calm also keep us from panicking when we are caught in a bad situation.
  • 15. When we pray for God’s guidance, our conscience dictates what is right and wrong.
  • 16. When we choose to do what is right and proper, we end up feeling good about ourselves.
  • 17. When we do or say something hurtful, we end up feeling bad about ourselves.
  • 18. We should always choose to be calm and find time to think and decide on the right thing to do.
