Luck is a part, being in the right place at the right time is a part, but planning is critical to Suceed. Who here can really say their CV created a really positive response from a stranger?Either way, no matter where it goes, the one and only thing you can be sure of is you’ve lost control of your application. So before you press send, think a bit differently about how you can get your cv noticed. Anyone use their ears when they are reading a job application. Might be worth looking at that - Covey’s habit, seek first to understand before being understood. As questions of audience? Do I really understand what this organisation is looking for and why are they recruiting? Does my CV send them an instant message as to what I can contribute for them? If I’m not sure, how can i get these answers.Example of style of recruiting, not so common here, but popular in the UK &amp; US. Executive Search of Head Hunting. Eg. Lets say I am looking for an RF engineer..web, linked in, fb, database, network...still nothing. Competitors – draw out map.
