Need:
Average economic loss per year only due to landslides and only in Europe, is approximately 4.7 billion Euros. Across
India, 2600 people die every year in building and other structural collapses.
Challenge:
The most efficient way to reduce the risks, would be to respond to emergencies faster and more accurately.
Initiative:
InSAR may potentially reduce operating costs in several million of euros in monitoring structures, providing a more
detailed and frequent surveillance which will result in better safety conditions.
Results:
We provide monitoring of infrastructure stability and advanced situation awareness during evolving and complex
deformation processes like landslides, building collapses, highway disruptions, dam failures and earthquakes. We are
devoted to monitoring of the Earth’s surface deformation, whilst ensuring that our customers are protected in the face
of a natural or man-made disasters.

The use of satellite-based InSAR for deformation monitoring:
can remotely monitor hundreds of structures simultaneously in a single radar image, through
clouds and at night with a satellite pass period of few days.
can evaluate global metrics such as structure settlement, deck deflection, thermal deformation,
foundation settlement, critical river water/ice level and many others
can help identify and prioritise structures requiring field inspection and in-situ measurements
can complement in-situ monitoring that has low spatial density/high temporal density data with
high spatial density/low temporal density data for validation of terrestrial data
can offer benefits such as weekly objects displacement monitoring, improved objects integrity and
serviceability, and fewer structure accessibility and traffic disruption issues

the deformation monitoring via satellite radar interferometry (InSAR, Interferometric Synthetic
Aperture Radar). The primary aim of the company is the deformation monitoring of structures and
infrastructures (buildings, industrial zones, cultural heritage structures, roads, bridges, highways),
urban areas, undermined and landsliding areas, deposits of mineral resources and objects of the
strategic importance (dams, waterworks, power-plants, airport facilities). The company focuses on
the development of autonomous procedures designed to detect potential deformation threats and
facilitating the interpretation of higher-order products such as ground deformation maps.


  • 2. Need: Average economic loss per year only due to landslides and only in Europe, is approximately 4.7 billion Euros. Across India, 2600 people die every year in building and other structural collapses. Challenge: The most efficient way to reduce the risks, would be to respond to emergencies faster and more accurately. Initiative: InSAR may potentially reduce operating costs in several million of euros in monitoring structures, providing a more detailed and frequent surveillance which will result in better safety conditions. Results: We provide monitoring of infrastructure stability and advanced situation awareness during evolving and complex deformation processes like landslides, building collapses, highway disruptions, dam failures and earthquakes.
