Introduction
This software is call TempBuddy, and it is use by recruitment agency Verve to provide
temporary staff on a cloud based real-time workforce management platform. Every time an
employee join Verve, they will get give TempBuddy username and password. The agency
will provide their employees a user guide on how to use the software, so they do not need to
worry about anything. When a user login into the software, they will ask to provide their
personal details alongside with the availability of the days they can work, all this data is
stored on the software and only Verve will able to view it. Every time there is a work
available from Verve, the staff will be notify on the software. Once a staff confirm a shift, they
will get all the information relates to that specific shift they have confirmed for example:
company name, client address, job title, time and date plus the uniform. The staff can also
go to the Verve office to request any shift they want to do. The office can then booked you
into the shift excessively. Consequently, the agency will then notify you on the software
about the shift alongside with all the information you are required.
Benefits
This software is very beneficial for Verve and for their employees because it shows real time
availability of their employees on the software. With this way, both the agency and their staff
have been able to book shift with significant speed without any hassle. Another benefit of
this software is that it provide very good security for Verve and their staff as it has features
such as biometric, time-stamped, geo-located staff check-in and out system. All this ensure
that the software provide great security for both the agency and their staff. The way the
software carry out tasks and go about its business is quite commending with the way
everything is schedule as this enables better management decisions through real-time
workforce data and associated costs. There is also this very beneficial feature of the
software, which capture collated workers hours of the employee and generates that into
automatically digital timesheets. This feature made life a lot easier for both the agency and
their staff.

To test this functional requirement of the software, there is need to test if the system is
allowing the employee to check-in and out, and the data is available to use for the agency.
All parts of functional requirement are present below.

The user run the software and the menu icon appear. The menu icon will show “Available
now” and the amount of time left to check-in for the next shift alongside the assignment
details. When it is time to check-in the menu icon changes from “Available now” to “In”. The
user require providing Biometric I.D when they check-in for a specific assignment. When the
user press the “In” button, they will be require to click a selfie. This is necessary because
you need to prove that you are the right worker and you are in the right place at the right
time. This data automatically sent to the recruitment agency. The system also require the
user to enable the location function on the phone to be able to check-in. This is necessary
because if the location not enabled then the agency will not able to know where the user
check-in. If the user is running late, the software will contact the agency to let them know you
are running late and how far from work you are. The user can record any breaks taken by
holding the check-in/out button. They can also record the hours when they are travelling or
working on a call. When the user press the check-out button, they will be require to take a
selfie again and the working hours will automatically logged with the agency.

To test this functional requirement of the software, there is need to test if the system
allow the user to receive confirmation message from the agency.
Assignment confirmation Assignment menu
Every time a user accept the job, they receive a confirmation message from the agency. The
user can then view all their upcoming assignments on the assignment menu, which is
organised in days and weeks. The assignment menu includes all the details you need to
know such as where you will be working, what dates you will be working and the pay rate for
specific assignment.
Usability evaluation
 Real-time confirmation of the shift
To test this usability requirement of the software, there is need to test if the system enable
the user to accept or decline the job.
Inbox
The user get a job offer from the agency. The user can accept or decline the job according to
their availability. The following message is send to the agency. The usability requirement has
met. The system is operating effectively.

 Automatic time sheets
To test this usability requirement of the software, there is need to test if the system
automatically generates the timesheet for the user.
Timer Timesheets approval
When the user check-in and out, it automatically generates timesheet for the user with
accurate hours are recorded. The timer starts and clocks the working hours including any
breaks taken. This made life a lot easier for both the staff and the agency, as there is no
need of a manual timesheet. Once a timesheet is generates, the user require approving the
timesheet before it is sent to the agency. The usability requirement has met. The system is
working efficiently and timesaving.
