8. My View of the Market
Inventory is still very low. In the lower end of the
market price range the competition between buyers
for available homes is especially strong.
As a result of the low inventory and a bit of a slow
start sales are down 11% compared to the first quarter
last year.
Prices are rising rapidly.
It seems that if sellers overprice their home they risk
being on the market for a long time. Buyers tend to
move on.
