  2. The AS5600 combined with the diametric magnetized magnet as shown in the picture provides an easy way to work with a contactless, highly reliable and durable potentiometer. The AS5600 like all other ams position sensors, uses proprietary proven angle measuring principle that makes the device robust against stray magnetic fields, temperature variation and displacement. The 12 bit angle information can be read over I2C, as analog output ratiometric to VDD or PWM encoded output. The full output swing can be programmed to a custom angular range from 18 to 360degrees. This can be done using the I2C interface. In addition, the AS5600 offers an unique simple-to-use 3-wire programing mode for potentiometer applications.
