7. Case Study #1
GE Harris – Energy Control Systems
Project Overview: A multinational corporation that provides
information technology solutions to the electric utility industry wanted
an assessment of its customer service policies worldwide.
Strategy: NewDoor developed an international research survey to
assess the current customer relations programs and overall customer
satisfaction. The research program was implemented in over 40
countries and in 8 languages.
Initiatives: Multinational / multi language customer satisfaction
survey and accompanying recommendation report.
8. Case Study #2
Maritime Life (Flexcare Health Insurance)
Project Overview: A national health insurance company wanted to
launch its products into the Western Canadian market. The company
was already a leading health insurance provider in Ontario, but was
unable to penetrate new markets in western Canada effectively.
Strategy: A grassroots community relations program was developed
to augment broadcast advertising and direct mail marketing. We
developed below-the-line marketing initiatives such as charity
alliances, event marketing, cross promotions and sponsorship deals.
Initiatives: Advertising, graphic design, community relations, online
promotions and public relations programs.
9. Case Study #3
Stoney Trail Group – Calgary Ring Road Project
Project Overview: As part of Alberta Transportations plan to build a
ring road in Calgary by 2014 we were hired to provide a conduit
between the government, the constructor and the public.
Strategy: NewDoor created and managed a series of public forums
and ongoing avenues for two-way communication with stakeholders.
Initiatives: to : Open houses, media tours, online discussion boards,
project information website and telephone hotlines. We also
developed a crisis communication plan, prepared spokespeople for
media interviews and developed advertising and public relations
programs for project updates and public traffic interruptions.

University of Alaska Fairbanks
Project Overview: A large northern university wanted to update it’s
public image and create a vision looking forward to 2014. The
university also needed strategies to attract students and quality
instructors to it’s campus.
Strategy: NewDoor developed a online survey and discussion boards
directed at the current student body and instructors and community
stakeholders and also to prospective students and instructor to
discover the why or why not of joining the university.
Initiatives: We created an online survey and discussion boards to
gather intelligence on satisfaction and perceptions and prepared a
recommendation report.

Canadian Hydro Developers
Project Overview: A national renewable energy developer wanted to
strengthen its brand position both nationally and in the local
communities where its power generation facilities are located.
Strategy: NewDoor reworked the client's touch points to relay key
messages and increase brand consistency. We also prepared
advertising and public relations programs to increase greater public
awareness.
Initiatives: Advertising, brand packaging, graphic design, logo
update, web site, printed materials and public relations programs.

Work Comp. Tech Ltd.
Project Overview: A well-established disability management company
wanted to launch a consulting division to sell its proprietary process
and technology systems to large health organizations throughout
North America.
Strategy: The client's image was redeveloped to reflect the look of a
much larger organization and to instill prospect confidence in the
company’s ability to deliver on its corporate promises.
Initiatives: Marketing intelligence to discover what was important to
prospective clients. Brand packaging, direct mail, graphic design, web
