2. Methodology
From April 13th to April 15th 2012, an online survey was
conducted among 1,010 randomly selected adult Canadians
who own a smartphone and are connected to the internet . All
were Angus Reid Forum panelists. The margin of error—which
measures sampling variability—is +/- 3.1%, nineteen times out
of twenty. The results have been statistically weighted according
to region and gender. Discrepancies in or between totals are
due to rounding.
