Project Details:
1) Analysing on “Regression Modelling and Data Analysis”
Role: Model fitting; Checking diagnostics, qqplot, leverage, outliers, partial regression and
partial residual plot, multicollinearity;checking VIF, Confirmation through Robust regression,Log-
likelihood plot for box-cox transformation; Checking Stripchart,Criterion based procedures for variable
selection,adjusted R squre,Mallow’s Statistic etc.From the transformed model ,trying to relate with any type
of generalized linear model (i.e Poisson Regression). Ex-Trying to relate square root transformation with
Poisson Regression, and looking the model through Gamma,Lognormal and Inverse Gamma model.
2) Doing analysis on “Time Series Data and Simulation”
Role: How can a simulated random walk data be thought of as an AR or MA model practically?
Checking the difference of simulated random walk data and trying to relate with a MA and AR model.
Finally from this,trying to associate between random walk model and ARIMA model...
3) Working on many case studies of “cluster analysis,factor analysis and PCA”
