a research.
Explore the trends of educational research
within the education context of Bangladesh.
To examine the methodological approach
conducted on various aspects of education
over the last few decades in Bangladesh.
3. Inevitable part of an investigation process
Methodology contributes the fulfillment of the
purpose.
It’s help to examine and increase the scope of
the area of interests.
An attempt to further explore the research
methodology applied in different arena of
education in Bangladesh.
will guide to take necessary measures to enrich
future research approach.

1.1 What is the nature of the study in
Educational research in Bangladesh?
1.2 What types of population and sampling
technique are used in Educational research
in Bangladesh?
6. 1.3 What type of data collection tools are used
Educational research in Bangladesh?

2. What kind of educational research was carried
out over the last four decades in Bangladesh?
7. Nature of the Study:
This study will be conducted mainly
quantitative method. It is based on document
analyses, evidence of available educational
research in Bangladesh since independence of
the country.
8. Population: All educational research reports of
Bangladesh since 1971 will be the main population
of this study. In this regard, the organizations and
academic institutions such as,

9. Sample:
In order to make sure the feasibility of the
study, to total period will be organized with 4
decades (1971-80, 1981-90, 1991-2000 and 2001-
2011). 25 research studies from every decade
will be collected as sample of research. These
researches will be selected randomly after
categorizing the population list.
10. Data collection tools:
A checklist will be developed to evaluate the
research studies collected from different
organization. This checklist will be developed
focusing research methodology and
particularly nature of the study, sample and
sampling technique, tools, data analyses etc
11. Data analyses:
Quantitative analysis will be employed for
numerical data. In this analysis I will find out
the simple statistical data such as frequency
distribution, percentage etc.
The SPSS software will be used for clarifying
numerical data.
