This document describes the design and construction of a low-cost propeller LED display. It uses the principle of persistence of vision to display messages using only 7 LEDs, instead of the 525 LEDs normally required. A microcontroller rotates the LEDs mechanically to produce the appearance of a full display. Hardware includes the microcontroller, LED module, DC motor, interrupter module, and mechanical assembly to rotate the components. Software uses interrupts to synchronize the LED flashing with motor position. Testing showed the motor achieves 1980 RPM, and the display successfully showed patterns like letters and numbers. The system provides an affordable option for large public information displays.
