It is not just the obvious school activities, think of outside jobs, Girl Scouts, hobbies, etc.Don’t just join a million things in your senior year! It is important to show commitment to activities and shows what your passion is.
- Talk about punctuation too!Helen addresses what can a student be doing now. Look at the common application and start writing, getting it checked by a teacher, pick a topic. From an admissions stand point, we want to learn about the student. Tell us something the rest of the application does not show. Keep in mind length and the amount of applications that are read, clear and concise is great!
