2.THE EMERGENCE OF NUCLEAR FAMILY SYSTEM AND SINGLE PARENT FAMILY HAS ALSO BEEN RESPONSIBLE FOR RISING
PERMISSIVENESS AMONG ADOLESCENTS.
3.THE TEACHER WHO WERE THE BEST CUSTDIAN AND MEANS FOR MAINTAINING DESIRABILITY IN THE BEHAVIOUR OF
ADULTS AND STUDENTS HAVE STARTED TO KEEP THEMSELVES IN THE BACKGROUND.

3. INCREASING PERMISSIVENESS WITH UNLIMITED FREEDOM TO DO THE THINGS OF THEIR CHOICE AND LIKING HAS
CREATED ALL POSSIBILITIES FOR ADOLESCENT TO HAVE CONFRONTATION AND CONFLICTS WITH THEIR TEACHERS, PEERS
AND OTHER MEMBERS OF COMMUNITY.

17. Role of Teachers and Parents in helping and guiding the
Adolescents
Adolescents as we have seen have unique age specific characteristics needs and problems that
need to rationalized and tackled properly for their adequate adjustmentand proper growth and
development of their potentialities.
 To have proper knowledge of adolescent’s psychology
Adolescence is a bridge betweenchildhood and adulthood. problems ,needs,etc. all theis
essential to be known by parents,teachers and administration who have to deal with them.
Provide suitable environment for proper growth
It is a stage where maximum growth takes place. Example getting maximum but one can get
with respect to physical and mental growthsuitable environmentshould be provided by the
parents and teachers at home as wellas school.

The rapid physiological changes,the secretion of sex
hormones the sudden awakening of sex instinct and
urges all necessible the provision of adequate sex
information and education for adolescents.
They should be helped in making adjustment with regards
to their newly bodily changes and somatic development.

Recent researches in the field of adolescence psychology have
revealed that adults, parents, elders and teachers and their
undesirable way and points of view are real problem of adolescents.
Training of Emotions and satisfaction of
emotional needs
The age of adolescence is marked too much intensity force,
instability and imaturity of emotions. That adolescent youth are
highly inflammable and restless. Their motioncan be aroused with
slight provocations.

It is is a strong need of today to provide

make their effort in this direction.
Arranging Guidance Service.
Lack of guidance creates
aimlessness,indefiniteness and restlessness
among adolescents.The adolescents have their
problems which needs attention and proper
solution.Every individual is to be studied carefully
as he require special guidance and help for
solution of his problems and satisfaction of his
needs .Focus of guidance is always the individual
not problem.
