focus your development efforts. It is highly recommended that you use this tool in a conversation with your
manager to gain his/her perspective on yourabilities.
Instructions: Circle the number that best represents yourlevel of skill in each management activity listed
below. Use the lower numbers (1-2) to rate areas where you have less experience, find it difficult to
accomplish, or feel your skill needs developing. Use the higher scores (4-5) to rate areas where you have a
deeper experience and well developed expertise.
