information
a) Why are Holiday Camps important?
Holiday Camps are important for the development of your children, giving them the possibility to get to know new
people, to bound, create their own autonomy and basis for life.
There are many reasons why parents choose both our camps: Many do it for their children to become independent,
to "grow", to gain maturity, all in all, to cut the umbilical cord with the parents.
However, it is also during school holidays, that parents like you who work and need to occupy their children time,
seek for a safe place, with outdoor activities, away from the videogames or PC games. That’s when you find Campo
Aventura and Alpine Summer Camp.
To break the routine and provide an array of new experiences is indicative of the importance of Holiday Camps and
their benefits.
. DOCUMENTOS OBLIGATORIOS

b) What will they learn?
At Campo Aventura and Alpine Summer Camp we have our very own philosophy and we try to show and pass the
cultural values in which we believe to our kids. It is extremely important to continue to implement the values you
teach your kids at home and that they learn at school when they are outside their known environment. Following
the rules is essential e as soon as they enter our facilities they will feel how we live in both our camps. We breathe
professionalism and we know how important it is to have new experiences at these early stages of life. Learning to
share, to be kind, to overcome their fears is part of our activities.
. Money and valuables
We recommend children to bring their belongings well identified and to avoid bringing materials such as:
Playstations, electronic games, mobile phones, etc. All valuable materials (camera, mobile phones, money or other
valuable belongings) will be handed on the first day to the coordinator who will be responsible for the items. In case
the items remain with the participant (this possibility only for mp3 players and money, excluding the phone) the
coordinator will not be held responsible.
All other objects, Campo Aventura and Alpine Summer Camp advise for their identification and will not be
responsible for any loss or damage of any kind belongs. Campo Aventura also has available its official store, Loja dos
5, where participants can buy "souvenirs" (T-shirts / shirts / caps / bags /among many others), chocolates, cookies
or ice cream.
. Medication and S.O.S
Campo Aventura and Alpine Summer Camp have a First Aid cabinet, open 24 hours a day. In addition, all monitors
have first aid training and can help whenever no further assistance is required. In those cases we take the injured to
the nearest hospitals. In Portugal to Caldas da Rainha Hospital and in Switzerland to Frutigen Hospital, both at
15minutes away by car.
As with any medication / or diseases and disabilities, they should be mentioned so we may always act in the most
correct way, aware of all the necessary precautions. Many conditions can interfere with the child's behavior during
their stay at our camps. Let us know so we can help in any way possible (birth of a sibling, death of a family
member, sleeping problems, anorexia, or other disorders, etc.).
The information shall be confidential and treated with the most sensitivity.
