1) A questionnaire on sexual knowledge, attitudes, and behavior was distributed to married Jordanian men, but many refused to participate or complete it. Of the 200 fully completed questionnaires obtained, most had low sexual knowledge.
2) While many supported sex education and discussing sexuality, attitudes towards topics like masturbation, premarital sex, and homosexuality were mixed or confused. A majority were uncertain in their responses.
3) The study results were limited due to non-random sampling and bias from excluding illiterate men. But they indicated many married Jordanian men have poor sexual knowledge and could benefit from more sex education and discussions on these sensitive topics.

Sexual knowledge, attitude and behavior among married
1. Sexual Knowledge, Attitude and Behavior Among Married Jordanian MenA pilot Survey Walid Sarhan F.R.C.Psych. Wael Samara M.D. AMMAN-JORDAN
2. Methodology A questionnaire of 50 questions and some basic personal data was designed specially for this purpose. The questionnaire was distributed in hand by 30 assistants to randomly selected literate married Jordanian men . Men were asked to have a look and if the accept the idea ,to answer the questions and seal the envelop before handing it back. Assurances of confidentiality were stated clearly, no names or addresses are required.
3. Difficulties Many men refused even to read it. Many men read it and refused to answer it. To obtain 200 correctly completed questionnaires more than double that number was distributed. 26 questionnaires were incomplete and were eliminated.
4. The results The results will be presented of the 200 completed questionnaire.
57. 49- Would You like to talk to an expert in Sexual Matters? 51% 37.5% 11.5%
58. 50- do think you are suffering from any sexual problems? 78.5% 14% 7.5%
59. Limitations: The sample is not following the methodology of randomization. The high refusal to participate lead to bias. Excluding illiterate men lead to bias. The cultural and religious influence affect the readiness to talk about sensitive issues like sex and certain areas like masturbation, sex before marriage and extramarital sex. The number of questions are not enough to cover the topic comprehensively.
60. conclusion The married literate Jordanian men are not ready to answer questions about sex. The sexual knowledge is poor. The attitude towards sexual matters is confused. Sex before marriage and extramarital sex seem to be high among those who accepted to answer the questionnaire, most probably it is higher among those who refused to participate.
61. Conclusion (con.) Sexual behavior is perplexed. A good percentage is always uncertain. Sex education is needed. More surveys about sexuality is needed. The results are similar to previous two surveys done by Sarhan on single men and married women.
