computer will not turn on and load to windows desktop after booting? (6marks) 2. Discuss the
components of Linux Operating System and explain any ten (10) Linux Commands with the
respective functions. (10marks) 3. As senior systems information Officer, write a technical report
on Linux (Ubuntu) installation process in your organisation to be adopted by the computer
engineering department. (2 marks each = 14) The report must include the following details:
Usage of virtual Software (VMware/virtual Box) i. Explanation of boot sequence ii. Partition
types and file systems use in Linux iii. Screen snapshot of key installation processes iv. Screen
snapshot of login screen with your name and Password v. Precisely illustrate with screenshot of
any four (4) console Linux commands of your choice. vi. Show step by step how to create
directory and subdirectories of all departments under the Faculty (FoCIS) using FoCIS as root
directory in MS-DOS and displays the final highrachical results in your report using appropriate
commands. vii. Show how to move a text file to a directory using the mV (move) command in
Linux environment.
