THE BEST SEASON
In southern Canada, from may until the end of September, the temperatures are mild. In the North of
the country, summer is the best time, with long days and pleasant temperatures. In winter the
temperatures are below freezing, sometimes far below ( -20° C or -30° C!).
The Pacific coast, in Canada, has mild temperatures. The Atlantic coast and the interior of Canada
have higher temperatures. In the provinces of Ontario and Quebec, the snow cover covers the larger
cities, leaving the streets virtually deserted because the cold is unbearable.
