– Steering Committee reported:
• MoU with APIA has been signed, so APIX can use APIA’s
shared bank account
• Discussing to copy Euro-IX website software for those of
APIX with Euro-IX people.
We may need some budget for customizing the appearance
for APIX
– Discussed a legal entity and membership fee of APIX.
• Membership fee will be discussed and its decision will be
made at next meeting.
• Continuously investigating a legal entity.

• Administrative session
– Discussed recent ITU activities on IXP
• ITU’s Council Working Group on International Internet-
related public policy issues is picking up IXP as discussion
topic.
• They requested comments by August 28, 2015
– IX Foundation, which consists of Euro-IX, APIX, LAC-IX, Af-IX,
submitted a comment
– Japanese IXPs also submitted a comment
• Discussed what can be done by APIX
– Attendees support APIX and APNIC collaborate to help to
establish an IXP in a country in bottom-up way.
– Also collaborate among IXPs regarding ITU issues and Internet
Governance.

This is just like Euro-IX forum, the association in European region, a closed group of internet exchange.
