Over the past decade I have
worked with CEOs and other
senior spokespeople to define
personal messages to build
profile, address criticism and
head off crises.
I have then worked with these
individuals to practice and hone
delivery as media interviews,
summit speeches, presentations
and appearances before
parliamentary committees.
These include Sopra Steria, HP,
Avaya, Pitney Bowes, ICTQatar,
ITU, SAP, WTO Mexico Mission
In support of its commitment to
tackling the issue of ‘not-spots’ in
mobile coverage, Vodafone
created Rural Open Sure Signal.
We worked to promote this
competition by engaging with
local councils, parishes and local
businesses to submit tenders to
create their own local mobile
networks in partnership with
Vodafone.
Not only did this story achieve
national coverage, but secured
the engagement of over 100 local
councils, MPs and other
authorities.
I led a Microsoft-backed coalition
of online innovators engaged in a
influencer campaign designed to
promote and protect a vibrant
online marketplace and highlight
the damage caused by
monopolistic behaviour by global
platforms. The campaign
consisted of numerous individual
stories of harm, supported by
academics and think-tanks,
research and political
engagement.
The coalition was successful in
stimulation anti-competition
investigations globally
Working with Sony for the past
seven years I have helped three
successive CEOs craft and
deliver their speeches at major
events including Mobile World
Congress and IFA.
I moved the presentation on from
a list of specifications to a story
about innovation, entertainment
and the joy of creativity which
helped Sony gain increasing
share of voice at each event and
has ensured that it remains one
of the most high-profile players in
the market
