FEASIBILITY STUDY ON COLLECTION CENTRES IN RURAL AREAS
• Recommendation of 2015 Agribusiness Forum
Outcome
• Collection centres are to function as buying agents
from farmers in rural and remote areas for fruits
and vegetables supplied to hotels and
supermarkets
• Study conducted by Joes Farm and funded by CTA
and SPC.
• Report is currently being finalized for publication.
