Ewing Moving Service became a commercial agent and partner of
Stevens Worldwide Van Lines in 2005
Stevens Worldwide Van Lines was established in 1905 in
Saginaw, Michigan.
Stevens is now a full-service moving company with nearly 150 agent
locations throughout the United States and has a division specifically
dedicated to international relocations.

Prior to Move
• Always complete visual survey (unless otherwise required)
• Provide written estimate to customer/transferee within 48 hours of survey
• Guarantee pickup and delivery dates in accordance to customer contract/transit guide
• Telephone consultation w/designated National Accounts Representative
• Completed Order for Service
During the Move
• Use only agency labor in full uniform
• Utilize new boxes and packing materials
• Driver contacts transferee on load day
• No “tailgate” transporting of HHG’s
• Confirm delivery date of SIT to destination
• Delivery update within 24 hours
• 24 hour emergency contact is available

Claims Process
1. Mail claim form (also available via fax,
email or our website)
2. Contact the transferee to describe
action. A repair firm will assess
damages or Ewing provides a
monetary settlement.
3. Maintain communications with the
repair firm and reports status to the
transferee, documenting all work.
4. Ewing Drive-way settlement: if the
claim is under $500.00, we will settle
the claim immediately.
**If the claim exceeds $1,000.00, it will
be turned over to our insurance
company.

• We opened our Nashville location in 1995 as a satellite office. Since 2008, our
Nashville office has been fully functional under the name Ewing Moving & Storage with
our Operations Manager, Charles Lee Ewing II and his full-time staff of 8.
• Our Nashville office is capable of handling any and all aspects of your relocation
needs! We also have a complete local moving and storage operation.
