Where On Earth is an educational game that uses Google Earth to have students explore locations, people, events and oddities around the world. Students conduct in-depth research using guided questions and layers in Google Earth, then summarize their findings in authentic writing pieces. The game covers areas like world geography, culture, history, science and more. It is designed to improve students' research, writing and cultural understanding through exploring the world virtually.
