By asking ourselves these questions we will be able to form strategic responses which will enable us to develop operational plans that can then be extrapolated into the future to give us a common goal
In order to take Chiropractors into the next decade we need to gain an understanding of how the organisation currently operates and where we would like to be by the next decade. To begin this process we asked the General Council in Barcelona the following question – What status should Chiropractic in Europe have? The result is that we would like to be an autonomous profession that is integrated into the mainstream.

The next question was “What kind or rights should Chiropractors have?” Access to public funding and referral rights were perceived to be the most important followed by limited prescription rights and Imaging rights
The last question was “What are the major areas that the Profession needs to focus on?” Need to demonstrate cost effectiveness, followed by strategic legislation and improved University relations
