Eubanks, Communications Coordinator Jennifer Sykes, Web Coordinator Project The University of Florida recently launched a campaign to bring horticultural information to consumers via social media like Twitter, Facebook, and blogging. The campaign focuses mainly on content from two programs, Florida Master Gardeners and Florida-Friendly Landscaping™. Audience Gardeners are enthusiastic information seekers, and readily turn to the web for inspiration. And the Master Gardener and Florida-Friendly program content is useful to all Florida gardeners. Social Networking By using multiple social networking streams, we’re able to reach out to our clientele and actively share current gardening information, rather than waiting for them to find us.
