2. Dunes
Dunes from Słowiński National Park look almost like an exotic desert. As waves and wind carry sand inland
the dunes slowly move. It is also caused not only by the strength of the wind and the humidity of the
substratum but also by the air temperature. Low temperatures increase the intensity of the
processes.Some dunes are quite high - up to 30 metres. Dunes from the polish park are amazing, but the
fact that they’re moving makes it even more interesting.The "moving dunes" are regarded as a curiosity of
nature on a European scale. They’re perfect for The Treasure National Park.

3. Caves
Caves and rock shelters are characteristic group of forms associated with
limestone and activities of karst groundwater. Cracow-Częstochowa Upland is an
area of numerous of their occurrence. So far inventoried here c. 1900 caves and
more than 700 shelters. They developed mainly in the rocky variant of Jurassic
limestone.

4. Rocks
I have chosen the rocks of Prachovské skály (in Protected landscape area Český ráj) and the rock called
Pravčická brána (in National park České Švácarsko), because they are quite unique
These rocks are made of sandstone and it makes really beautiful creatures
For example Pravčická brána (Pravčice Rock) has a shape of gate and when you look through the gate,
you’ll see beautiful view of Czech landscape and mountains (it’s been used in Narnia)
5. Rivers
Czech Republic is full of rivers…
Especially one Nation Park called Podyjí has his river in the name - Dyje
Dyje has made a beautiful meander valley, full of canyons and valleys, stone seas and forests… It is the
least interferenced place like this in Czech Republic
6. Plains
There aren’t any plains in Czech Republic, except plains of Šumava
Šumava plains are known for their high height and for their big quantity of moss (it was a border of
comunist Czechoslovakia, it didn’t let people come across)
These plains are quite similar to English plains, because there rains a lot, so the grass has a similar
shape
7. ALTAMIRA
Paleolithic rock art from the north of the peninsula
The caves of altamira are located in cantabria, in the sierra de altamira, it is one of the most
important caves internationally named patrician of mankind.
The style of most of his works is framed in the so-called "Franco-Cantabrian school", characterized by
the realism of the figures represented. It contains polychrome paintings, engravings, black, red and
ocher paintings representing animals, anthropomorphic figures, abstract and non-figurative drawings.
8. The caves of monte castillo
The caves of Monte Castillo, located in the Cantabrian town of Puente Viesgo, are home to one of the
most important Paleolithic sites in the region.
It is a group of caves located next to the River Pas on Mount Castillo, framed at the intersection of
different valleys and near the coast. Due to this, it is an area suitable for agriculture, hunting and
fishing, which explains the appearance of different prehistoric settlements.

10. Ochtinska Aragonite Cave
Ochtinská Aragonite Cave is situated in the mountains Revúcka vrchovina in central Slovakia is a
world rarity and unique natural phenomenon. It is interesting for variety and abundance of aragonite
filling and a rare development of underground space. Thanks to its significance and unique
ornamentation, it was included into the UNESCO World Heritage List.
11. Travertine
Gánovské travertíny are national natural landmark, which was statement in
1972. They are located near the National park Slovak Paradise .
12. Maninska Gorge
Manínska Gorge is a national nature reserve, much sought after attraction in
this area is the narrowest canyon in Slovakia. It lies in the Súľov Mountains, near
from Považská Bystrica and National park Small Fatra. It is a place of great
tourist interest, because of its wild and rare flora and fauna.
13. Roque Cinchado
The biggest
The Roque Cinchado is a unique rock formation and is
emblematic of the island of Tenerife. It lies within the
Teide National Park in the municipality of La Orotava, near
the volcano of the same name, in the heart of the island.
The Roque Cinchado is one of the largest in the world by
altitude, for the entire park totals more than 2000 metres.
The Roque Cinchado is located about 1700 meters below
the summit of Teide volcano and is a volcanic formation; it
belongs to a lineup of large rock formations, remnants of
the former summit of the island, known as "Roques García."
The rock is a famous rock formation, in fact its image
appeared on one thousand peseta bank notes, with Teide in
the background.
14. La Tarta del Teide
The most beautiful
It is an ideal location to enjoy the
panoramic views of the sea of clouds that
during several times of the year usually
cover the Orotava Valley, at the foot of the
majestic volcanic peak of Teide.

15. La Rosa del Teide
The strangest
On the road that goes from the Orotava to the
Teide National Park, you can see this rock in
the shape of a rose. It is incredible how
geology has such caprices to give a stone that
form. It's worth stopping and looking at it.
Also in that small corner there is a grotto that
can be lowered with care.
A beautiful place to start or end a visit to the
Teide National Park.
