2. The leading character is a poor
boy who lives with his mother in a
little village .He was very lazy, but
one day his mother asks him to
take their geese to the
market, because they haven’t got
anything to eat.
El protagonista es un niño pobre que
vive con su madre en un pequeño
pueblo. Era muy vago, pero un día
su madre le pide que lleve sus
gansos al mercado, porque no
tienen nada para comer.

3. Unfortunatelly the master of the town Döbrögi was there, too.
He took Matyi’s geese, didn’t pay anything and beat him.
Matyi promises him that he will give it back three times!
Por desgracia el alcalde del pueblo, Döbrögi, estaba
allí, también. Cogió los gansos de Matyi, sin pagar nada y le
golpeó. Matyi le promete que volverá tres veces!

4. Some years later Matyi comes back
as a carpenter and meanwhile he
helps to built Döbrögi’s castle, he
draws away the master to an empty
forest. Then Matyi tells to Döbrögi
who is he and beat him. After that he
said: ”I’ll come back two more
times!”
Algunos años más tarde Matyi regresa como carpintero y mientras
que él ayuda a construir el Castillo de Döbrögi, le señala al
maestro, en la distancia, un bosque vacío. Entonces Matyi le dice a
Döbrögi quien es él y le golpea. Después de que él dijera: "Volveré
dos veces más!"

5. Döbrögi was very ill after the beating, but nobody could the cure.
Döbrögi estaba muy enfermo después de la paliza, pero nadie le pudo curar.

6. But Matyi could! He
came back as a doctor
and sent everybody from
the castle to the forest to
collect some medicinal
plants. When they were
alone Matyi beat Döbrögi
the second time and
said: ”I’ll come back
again!”
Pero Matyi podía! Volvió como médico y todo el mundo fue
enviado, desde el castillo al bosque, a recoger algunas plantas
medicinales. Cuando estaban solos Matyi golpea a Döbrögi por segunda
vez y dijo: "voy a volver!"

7. Fort he third time he gives some money
to a boy and asks him when Döbrögi
will come to the market shout: I’m
Ludas Matyi!
Por tercera vez da algo de dinero a un
chico y le dice que pregunte en el
mercado cuándo vendrá Döbrögi: soy
Ludas Matyi!

8. After the shouting Döbrögi stay alone again. So Matyi beats him, gets the
geese’s price out of his pocket and said: ”This was the last time!”Good men
always win!
Después de los gritos Döbrögi se queda solo de nuevo. Matyi le gana, le
cobra el precio de sus gansos y dijo: "Esta fue la última vez!"Siempre
ganan los buenos hombres!
