Although the technology is transversal (electricity,heat,hydrogen,chemicals),
we have decided to start with the green chemicals project with an early adop-
ter,in a selected niche market in order to assure the commercialization strategy
using this industrial plant as a show room.
There is a risk betweenTRL6and the industrial market that will not be assumed
by private investors until it is completely mitigated through precommercial
demonstration.Thus, the support of the EICprogram is key to launch the pilot
and gain marketreputation.
It also creates new jobs,drives economic growth,and provides solutions for
social, climate and energychallenges.
