14. Gizelle’s career spans two decades of Executive Coaching, Skills Development
solutions, Facilitation, Learning and Development interventions, Consulting and
Management Development. She has experience in Corporates, National-,
Provincial-, Local - and Non-Governmental Organisations throughout all the
Sectors.
She worked as a senior career counsellor at the Department of Labour, owned
accredited training provider, Assessment Outsourcing, and was the CEO of
Nascence Education. She ran Skilling SA, offering learning and development
consulting, for 17 years. Gizelle is a Director of the Institute of People
Development (IPD) an accredited training provider.
As a sought after speaker, Gizelle is often requested to share her knowledge at
various seminars and conferences. The most common topics of discussion
include learning and development topics, conflict management, performance
management and personal development. Gizelle frequently addresses
audiences at L&D events such as the Skills Development Summit, the African
EduWeek Conference and African Rising Star.
Gizelle works closely with various professional bodies and SETAs, such as the ETD SETA
and Services SETA, and consults on Learning and Development practices. She
developed and quality assures the RPL designation pathway of the Marketing
Association of South Africa(MASA).
She contributes to the coaching, leaderships and Learning and development sector
through monthly articles that are published in the media.
Gizelle’s contributions to the advancement of vocational education and training
practices span across speaking opportunities, the development of training
courses that address real skills gaps, a focus on return on investment for
vocational training and inspiring others to take their skills development paths
seriously. Gizelle advocates targeted training in order to ensure that people feel
valued and that training makes a real difference to their careers.
