Cougars are ambush predators. It stalks its prey through trees, ledges and other covered areas before leaping onto the preys back and suffocating it.

A pack could potentially devour 120 (54) to 200 (90) pounds (kilograms) of meet in a sitting Wolves can go up to 2 weeks without eating. Wolves chase down their prey till the prey is too tired to run and then kill the prey by suffocation.
9. In researching this subject, I noticed that both animals where adapted to the way they collected food. It didn’t seem that either animal got more food than the other. It doesn’t matter whether an animal hunts by itself or with a pack. WhichisBetter? ToHunt in aPack? orbyoneself?
