residents, some 600,000 people, live along the rail
route, but in reality less than 6% of Oahu's
population resides within walking distance of the
proposed train stations.
Cost is estimated at $4 billion and maintenance
per year can be from $50 million to $100 million.
Rail costs each resident $7,600.
