Business Strategy                -HR Still a functional silo? “Driving Business Excellence through People” - NHRDN, May 20, 2011
Is the HR Head a Strategic Business Partner ? Is the HR Head of the company  a  part of Board meetings? Is the HR Head part of Client acquisition meetings or the Annual Planning meetings? Is the HR Head part of the company’s Budgeting Exercise and other Financial discussions along with the CFO and CEO?
Are we ready for these Business interactions? Do we know the market share of our company? Do we know the critical growth drivers for our company? Can we name some of our competitors of our business and their strengths and weaknesses? Are we equipped to due diligence  for a new acquisition? Are we able to interpret the Annual Report of the company? Are we skilled to take a prospective client around the work place or the manufacturing plants?
