Un Sistema de Gestión de Aprendizaje
(Learning Management
System, LMS), es una herramienta
informática, habitualmente de gran
tamaño, que permite la gestión y
presentación de materiales educativos a
estudiantes. El objetivo de estas
herramientas el permitir el aprendizaje
en cualquier parte y en cualquier
momento.

1. Gestión y registro de cursos y alumnos. Control de acceso y
seguimiento del progreso de los alumnos. Administración y
programación de cursos. Gestión de informe.
5. Venyajas y desventajas de los LMS
• Ventajas:
a) SU FORMA de actualización es constante
b) Facil de bajar en internet
c) Es superior a las versiones con costo
• Desventajas:
a) En plataforma Mac no baja virus
b) Es incompatible con algunos formatos estándares
6. Tipos de LMS
Dependiendo del sistema E-Learning que se
quiera implementar se pueden seleccionar
varios tipos de plataforma, aunque en
muchos de los casos esta decisión se ve
influida por los costos.
