= Bonus level I is primarily used for reps who recruit a new rep, and bonus level II is used for reps
who recruit and field train the new rep.
= The bonus may be effective on or after the new rep start date.
= The sales manager cannot choose to exclude either role from the bonus.
= The duration of the bonus payment cannot extend beyond 52 weeks from the new rep start date.
= The bonus is funded by the new sales rep’s hierarchy, plus a company contribution. The manager
cost-sharing deduction is calculated on a monthly basis and is deducted from gross pay.
If sufficient funds are not available at the time of the deduction calculation, the deduction will
occur on a weekly basis until the cost-sharing portion is fulfilled.

Who’s Eligible?
Agency Sales Reps and Public Sector Sales Reps are eligible for this bonus. You can’t receive
this bonus by recruiting and/or training a broker. The new recruit must be a Colonial Life career rep.
Contracted brokers are eligible for this bonus by referring a new rep(s) to Colonial Life.

How Does it Work?
= The bonus is designed to pay those who are responsible
for recruiting and/or training of a new sales rep.
= The sales manager designates the bonus level, has the
recruiting/training representative sign the RTB agreement form
(form 54776-5) and submits the form to the home office via their
