Towards motivation – the things you want in your life e.g have money, be happy, be successful
Away from motivation – the things you don’t want e.g don’t want to be broke, don’t want to be frustrated, don’t want to get in trouble
Left hand side is specific – tips and tricks, short term strategies and ideas, frustrations
Right hand side are the aspirations and fears – they do not motivate. They are too long term and vague. They are too generic and not compelling.
You have to be very specific and give them exactly what they want.
