Let’s start!

Open the web
browser

Type buffer.com
in the address bar
and hit Enter

This is Buffer’s home page

Click Sign up for free

Let’s sign up
using email

Enter your Email
Address and
Password

Click Sign up

Before we start, let’s review!

This is your Buffer dashboard

A. Social Account
It displays all your
social media
accounts connected
to buffer

It’s a tab where
you can write
and shows
your previous
post

It shows the
performance and
statistics of your post

It lets you set a
schedule of all your
post and connect with
the team

E. Account
It lets you change
your password and
access your billings

You can connect all your Social Network
accounts to Buffer

Let’s connect your Twitter account first

Click Connect

Enter your
Username and
Password

Click
Authorize app

Your Twitter
account is now
connected

Let’s try connect your Facebook account

In Facebook you
can either connect
your Profile, Page
and Group
account to Buffer

Let’s try connect
to your Facebook
Profile

Enter your
Password

Click Continue

Your Facebook
account is now
connected to
Buffer

Now, let’s connect your linkedin account

Click either your
linkedin Profile or
Page

Click Allow

Your linkedin is
now connected
to Buffer

Now, let’s connect your Google account

Click Profile

Choose an
account
00

An email confirmation will be sent to you

Check your mail

Check Buffer in your mail

Your Google
account is now
connected to
Buffer

Now lets try to connect your another
account, the Pinterest

Click 7-day Trial

Click Authorize App

Your Pinterest is
now connected
to Buffer

Lastly, let’s connect your Instagram account

Click Log in

Your Instagram
account is now
connected to
buffer

All your social
media accounts
are now
connected to
buffer

Click Add a New
Social Account,
to add more
accounts

Click Buffer
Dashboard,
to return to
dashboard

Let’s set up posting schedule

Click Settings

Click Posting
Schedule

To change the
Timezone, type
your City and
select

To change the
frequency of
your posting,
click here

To change the
Time Hour, click
here

To change the
Time Minute,
click here

To change into
AM or PM,
click here

Click Add
Posting Time

Your set
scheduled time
is now posted

You can add as
many time
schedule as you
want

Let’s create a post

Click any social
media account
you want to post

Click here to
post on Twitter

Click here to
write a post

This post will only
appear on Twitter

To share your post
to your other social
media accounts,
click here

Click here again
to disable other
accounts and this
will only appear in
Twitter

You can also
choose what
social media
account you want
to share your post

Click here to Add
photo or video

Select image from
your computer and
click Open

The image has
been added to
your post

Click the Add to
Queue dropdown
button

Click Share Next
when you want to
share it next to your
current post

Your post will
be saved

Click Share Now if
you want to post it
now

Click Schedule Post
if you want to post it
later

A calendar will
pop-up

Select the Date
and Time you
want to post it

Click Schedule

Your post and
schedule will
be saved

After saving, it will
return to your
Buffer dashboard

Click the Check (√)
to remove empty
slots

This is your
queued post

Click here to
Change Time or
Switch to Buffer
Schedule

Click Change Time

Select the
Time and Date
then, click Set

Click Switch to Buffer Schedule

The time was set to Buffer schedule

To return to the previous set time, click here

Click Switch to Custom Time

Select the Date and Time then, click Set

Your previous set time has been returned

Click here to Delete,
Edit and Share Now
your post

Click here to Delete your post

Click Delete to
permanently delete
the post

Click here to Edit your post

To edit your post, click here

To remove the image, click X

To edit your post schedule (Date & Time),
click here

To replace image, click here

Then, click Save

Click here to Share Now your post

Then, click
Share

To create another post, click here

Type your post

Let’s share our post to Twitter and Facebook

Click the
dropdown button

Click Share Now

You’ll see a confirmation message that your
post has been posted

Here’s how it appears in Facebook

Here’s how it appears in Twitter

Click your Twitter Analytics tab

This shows and monitors your Twitter
statistics or performance post

Let’s check your Facebook account

This shows your performance on Facebook

It tracks how many Comments and Likes on
your post

To share your post to your other social
media account, click Re-Buffer

Click here to choose on which other social
media account you want to share your post

Click here to edit

Click here to replace a Photo

Click dropdown arrow
