Since 2005, I have been working in Obstetric medicine, specially in Critical Care and in low resource settings. At this time I`m professor of Obstetric medicine and intensive care in obstetric at the most important university at the north coast from Colombia, also I`m the founder of the only research group in Colombia focused in severe maternal morbidity and severe diseases in pregnancy. My main objective is to improve the knowledge in maternal care, not only in critical situations, but also in evaluating the risk of pregnancy in medical illness and the risk of medical illness in pregnancy.
